Bismarck, ND – On Wednesday night jeremiahboyce.com had a chance to chat about some of the things that went down in front of our very eyes in Game 2 on Saturday night at the VFW Sports Center, which Aberdeen took 5-3. Therefore, the series is now squared at one a piece heading back to Odde Ice Center in Aberdeen, SD. The first subject that we approached the Bobcats head coach with was his inexcusable meltdown with the referee. Sedevie stated about the meltdown, “I put our team in some very tough penalty kills.” Sedevie also vociferously stated, “I did not agree with some of the calls he made.” From that topic, we moved on to how he was going to stop Bobcat killers, Steven Obarzanek and Cory Ward. He stated of Ward and Obarzanek, ” We have to take time and space away from them and not allow them to make plays. We have to stay out of the box, block shots, and have active sticks on the puck.” Coach Sedevie stated of the 1-1 tie, “We know we have to go into their building and get a win to take home ice back.” The Bobcats have been working on execusion. They want to make more traffic for Marcus Zelzer, stay sharp, and shoot the vulcanized rubber more. Sedevie stated of his pregame speech to the Capital City Kitties, “We have to find a way to get the job done! There are no excuses and it’s a must win for the ‘Cats!” The Bobcats will have focus and grab a little shut-eye before they shoot down the Wings. Sometimes you ride the horse that got you to the playoffs and goalie Aaron Nelson will get the nod to play between the pipes for the ‘Cats on Friday.
