The Bismarck Bobcats will celebrate the their 25th year along with Jeremiah all season long. They open up with the Highway 83 rivalry with the Minot Suck a Tauros. Bismarck has yet to win a game this year. Their record so far this year is 0-6, but they are 0-0 at home in front of the packed VFW den. I expect purring when the Cats take on the Mini Tauros. I plan to have every home game covered for Bobcat fans, who are the best fans in the league.
Here are your three keys to Sedevie’s game. Layne must not get in a hissy fit. He reminds me a lot of coach Bliss Littler, because he expects a lot from his players. The second key is that the Bobcats must not turn over the puck, or Minot will shoot and score. The third key is the Bobcats must not put the Tauros on the power play. They can’t do that at all, because Minot is one of the deadliest power play teams in the league.
The home opener is at the Den on Friday at 7:15. And then Saturday the scene shifts to the Maysa in Minot for round two of the North Dakota Subway Cup series.
