Denver, Colorado. The Denver Broncos are usually a bad football team, but this year, they look like they want to be kings of the AFC West. Yesterday, I had a chance to listen to Dave Logan on the KOA Broncos Radio Network, and I heard a lot of “touchdown Denver.” The Broncos played former Purdue quarterback Aiden O’Connell and Las Vegas Raiders, and they beat them 34-18. This was a welcome sign of things that are looking up. Bo Nix came to the Broncos this year from the Oregon Ducks, and he is growing up. He ran for a touchdown and threw for two more. I am not saying the Broncos are going to win the Super Bowl this year, but what I heard was very encouraging. The Broncos play the LA Chargers next Sunday afternoon at 3:05 Central.
