This is your home for everything about Bobcats. This is what everybody has been waiting for since the tragic ending in Minot last season. With Bud Light opening night, the season opener is at the Bobcat’s den. A familiar foe comes calling. But not with Chris Tok. A key for the Bobcats will be how good will Hunter Shepard be? Will he be able to read, react, and recover, like coach Sedevie preaches?
The NAHL did away with four on four overtime and they made it three three on three overtime, which is something that the Bobcats have already seen in the preseason, and they skated away winners. How will they do when it really counts? Another thing I will be watching is if the two teams go into a shootout, they will no longer have five shooters, but three shooters. The NAHL has adopted the NHL’s policy on shootouts. It’s still the same philosophy, with the winner being awarded two points, and the loser getting one single point. We will be at the Bobcat games this weekend, with your coverage. As always, you can listen to one of the best voices in the NAHL, Paul Teeple, on Super Talk 1270 AM as he brings you every hard hitting play by play action between the Bobcats and the Bruins. If it’s Bobcat hockey coverage you want, keep it at jeremiahboyce.com all season long.
