For the Bobcats, this team has nine lives, and refuses to disperse. It was the same situation in game one, as the Bruins came to Bismarck and Steve Howard and the rest of the Bruins made the Cats purr 3-1. After looking lifeless most of the night, they scored on a two on none breakaway to avoid a shutout. Saturday, the Bobcats looked much better, and they gave the Bruins cat scratch fever by shutting out the Bruins 2-0. Tommy Anderson was much better in the net, too, after taking an L on Friday. Coach Roth sounded much better on Saturday night than he did on Friday night after the game. The Bobcats were led by their Captain Ian Engel on Saturday. The Bruins were thinking that the Bobcats would always purr, but the team would growl on Saturday night and Tommy Anderson made sure the Bruins were stoned. Next is a business trip to Riverside Arena in Austin on Friday and Saturday, where the Bobcats will push the Bruins into the Cedar River.
