Even though the series is headed to the Big D, the Mavericks are almost at a crossroads. This series reminds me of the NBA Eastern Finals when Indiana got swept in four. This is looking like a tea party in Boston, and there’s nothing that Dallas can do about it, not even win one game. I don’t see anybody getting past Boston or cutting their lead in half. A change of scenery will not help when you have a basketball team that looks line they want the Larry O’Brien trophy. I hate to tell you that, sports fans, but it’s the truth. Boston really wants the trophy. I had thought the series was going to go seven games, but instead it might be good night Dallas. Jayson Tatum really turned on the afterburners. In fact so has the whole Boston team, and they are running away with the series. After what we saw last night, it might as well be 3-0 Boston. Dallas is in trouble, just like Indiana was. They couldn’t do anything after Tyrese went down. At least this time, Dallas is going home for games three and four. Talk to me after game three. It will be either 3-0 Boston or 2 games to one. The Mavericks are supposed to be the best in the West, but instead they look like the nightmare from the West.
