Boston – The Lakers still remain win less in the 2008 NBA Finals. The days of Larry Bird and Magic Johnson may be gone, but in the NBA Finals Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce have stolen the spotlight right away. Bum knee, no matter. Pierce and the Big 3 delivered the worst trouncing yet. Kobe Bryant scored 30 points, but it wasn’t enough to out-do Boston’s captain (Pierce), who topped the Celtics with 28 points in the 108-102 trouncing of the Lakers. The series is at 2 games to none and it now goes back to the City of Angels. The Lakers must win the next 2 games or their dreams of being NBA kings will be smashed and there will be no 10th title for the “zen master” Phil Jackson.
