At Lincoln Financial Field in South Philadelphia last night, it was time to honor the birds from last year because they were raising the Super Bowl winning banner from last season. Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter should be suspended for life for spitting on Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. There is no place in football for spitting on an opponent, and he should know better. The referees gave him a game ejection, which was the right thing to do. NFL, if you are looking to promote sportsmanship, then Jalen is not a good example. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is a better example of how to play football without all the histrionics. The Eagles and Cowboys were very close in scoring when the two combatants were not fighting and spitting on each other. I think the NFL has plenty of outstanding men who will represent the league with class and dignity, including Jonathan Taylor from the Indianapolis Colts and Daniel Jones, also from the Colts.
