Baseball is often a three part test, but with the Twins and Tigers, the schedule maker decided to give the teams a four part test. The Tigers aced the first part on Thursday night with a 4-3 win on a sacrifice fly that drove in the winning run in the top of the 11th inning. On Thursday night, the Minnesota Twins showed what kind of a team they are. And this year, they have been nothing but losers. When they lose, their manager tends to become a son of a gun. This was the case on Thursday night, when Rocco Baldelli wanted to question the umpire about the ball. He wanted a look at the ball, to see if the Tigers were doing something they shouldn’t be doing. But the question became the undoing of the man they call Rocco and it led to his ejection! Meanwhile, Tarik Skubal gave the Tigers seven strong innings, even though his stuff wasn’t up to par.
