On Wednesday, Jeremiahboyce.com stopped by the Den where we met Coach Garrett Roth and Coach Layne Sedevie. The Champs have only one player returning from last year, when the Bobcats won the Robertson Cup. The Bobcats are unsure who will succeed Tommy Anderson in goal. Tommy was a key part of winning the Robbie. When asked how they were going to defend the Robbie, Coach Roth told the Sheriff that they were going to put together a team that would try to go back to back. Coach Roth also told us that the team had a tough schedule to play. It will start with two games against the Austin Bruins, September 19-20. And then the team will travel to Blaine, Minnesota September 24-27, where they will take on Corpus Christi and Maryland, and have a rematch of the Robertson Cup game with the Lone Star Brahmas. Garrett Roth is one of the friendliest coaches in the league, and I am glad that I will get to cover the Robertson Cup champions this season.
