Just when you thought the sun was setting on Jimmie Johnson’s career, not so fast my friends, he will be around until at least 2020 driving the famous # 48 Chevrolet sponsored by Lowe’s.
Johnson, the defending seven time NASCAR champion who is led by Crew Chief Chad Knaus and owner Rick Hendrick, better know as “Mr. H”, will be tough to knock off as the Kings of NASCAR as they are a legit threat to win the championship for an eighth time.
JJ who already has seen the checkered flag three times this season and claimed his first stage win in Sonoma, Ca. at the Toyota/Save Mart 350, is currently in seventh place in the NASCAR standings. Johnson will be looking for his fourth victory this Saturday at the Coke Zero 400 at the World Center of Racing in Daytona Beach, Fl.
