After last week’s one point loss to Kansas City, the Bismarck Bucks look to replace the ugly taste in their mouth with a sweet taste of a win on Saturday over the Quad Cities Steamwheelers at the Bismarck Events Center. This will be a key game for the second place 4-3 Bucks as they try to pass the first place Sioux City Bandits who are hosting the Omaha Beef also on Saturday. The Bandits hold a one half game lead over the Bucks with a 4-2 record.
The Bucks own a 44-42 victory over Quad Cities when they met earlier in the season at Quad Cities. Quad Cities will be facing a different Bucks team now, under the leadership of Head Coach Paco Martinez, with quarterback Aaron Aiken and kicking specialist and former U Mary Marauder Code Goetz.
Look for a possible close high scoring game again when the two teams clash, with the Bucks coming away with that sweet taste of victory.
