On Sunday night the Cleveland Cavaliers had every intention of tying their series at two games apiece with the Indiana Pacers to narrow their series down to a best of three games in their NBA Eastern Conference quarterfinal game. Once again, your Majesty LeBron James had a great game in leading the Cavs to a 104-100 win over the Pacers, scoring 32 points. Two three point bombs by Kyle Korver late in the fourth quarter allowed the Cavaliers to head back to Cleveland with the series all even. Meanwhile, the Pacers seemed to be off their game, shooting 43 percent from the field. Victor Oladipo struggled with 5 for 20 shooting for a miserable 25% while scoring only a total of 17 points for the night.
If the Pacers want to advance to the next round, they must go back to Quicken Loans Arena and play like they did when they won game 1 of the series in Cleveland. The Pacers will need a better all around effort from everybody, especially #4 Mr. Oladipo. If this doesn’t happen, Indiana can kiss their title hopes good bye and watch another effort from Mr. James in trying to get back to the NBA finals for the eighth consecutive year.
