It was announced on Wednesday this week that Jimmie Johnson will lose Lowe’s as his primary sponsor at the end of this racing season. Lowe’s has been the sponsor for the seven time Nascar champion since 2001 which includes the five consecutive championships from 2006 through 2010.
It is not known at this time who will take over the major sponsorship of the # 48 car for next season for Hendrick Motorsports, Johnson, and Crew Chief Chad Knaus.
