After yesterday’s 120-95 victory over the Miami “Not So Hot” Heat, the Pacers look to do some magic to their former Head Coach, Frank Vogel at Amway Arena in Orlando, Florida tonight. This also marks the return of former Magic forward Victor Oladipo who is becoming the next Reggie Miller for the Indiana Pacers.
As far as I’m concerned, the Oklahoma City Thunder can have former Pacer Paul George. I feel that the Pacers got the better end of this three team deal between the Magic, Thunder, and Pacers because of George’s attitude wanting to leave the Pacers last season. Also, Mr. Oladipo is sort of a home grown talent because he played his college basketball for the Indiana Hoosiers, down the road in Bloomington Indiana.
I like what Pacers Head Coach Nate McMillan is doing by bringing in younger players to wear the Pacer’s uniforms. Indiana has already beaten Miami and Cleveland on the road this season, which they have not been able to do in previous campaigns. That makes this reporter very excited. Hopefully, the Pacers can qualify for the playoffs again this season, but not go three and out right away in the first round.
