On Thursday afternoon, it was a battle between two teams that start with a P. Unfortunately, the Century Patriots hockey team was jettisoned by the West Fargo Packers 5-4 in overtime. The Patriots will play Bottenau Rugby at 1 pm today in loser out play. The Packers move on in their quest for a state championship.
Mr. Troy Olson has been a mainstay behind the CHS bench for over 20 years. When I knew him at Century, he was my marketing teacher, and I was his statistician. He was always friendly to me and he made me feel like part of his hockey team.
The best that the Patriots can do now at state is fifth place.
