Minneapolis, Minnesota. Yesterday was the return of Kurt Cousins to Minneapolis, where he used to do the quarterbacking for the Vikings. But the Vikings had a surprise for Kurt. Justin Jefferson caught two touchdown passes from Sam Darnold in a rout of the Atlanta Dirty Birds. Darnold ended up with a record five touchdown passes, shooting down the Birds 42-21. For Cousins, it was a not so happy reunion, but who cares? Because the Vikings kept pace with the Detroit Lions in the NFC North. The Vikings will take on the Chicago Bears at US Bank Stadium next Monday, where you can take it to the bank that the Vikings will get win number 12. The Bears are in disarray after firing head coach Matt Eberflus and giving the interim job to Mike Brown.
