The Bobcats had one of the worst referees in the league on Saturday night. The ref left a lot to be desired and still has this reporter scratching his head. The Bobcats were ahead 2-0 when the first questionable call was made. Mr. Craig Hanson signaled a no-goal, but then favored the Outlaws after a long discussion and Brandon Brodhag was awarded a cheap goal. This wasn’t the only time that Hanson needed his mind checked. After Bismarck had taken a 3-2 lead, it appeared, from this reporter’s angle, that they should have been given a 4-2 lead, but Mr. Hanson apparently was eating corn the night before, because he sided with the North Iowa Outlaws yet again and signaled a no-goal. In my opinion, Craig Hanson should not be allowed to be a referee in this league. If he’s going to make cheap calls, maybe he should go live in a nursing home.
