Sometimes, you have to be lucky, but you have to have moxie when you are the defending Stanley Cup Champions. Having won it last year, everybody is gunning for you this year in the playoffs. Tonight, the Avalanche either show their moxie or go home. The Seattle Kraken have no business being in a game seven, but Cale Makar and the Avs need to be ready to play. And so too does Nathan Mac Kinnon. I expect a lot of chippy play coming from both teams, because we are tired of you, Seattle! All the pressure is on the Avs, because they are the defending Stanley Cup Champions. Seattle has nothing to lose, but the Avalanche do. It has to come from within the guys who wear the “C” for the Avalanche, and the goalie. The Avalanche have home ice advantage, so to make a long story short, the Avalanche must be ready to punch the vulcanized rubber in the Seattle goal.
