After letting Brad Berry go, the UND Fighting Hawks have landed a new bench boss. Dane Jackson, who has been an assistant with the program for 19 years, has now been tapped to lead one of the premier programs in all hockey. Dane has also been a captain on the ice and has been working with the UND forwards and PK. Brad Berry was excused after UND did not make the Final Four, after a 4-2 loss to the Broncos of Western Michigan. This will be Dane’s time to shine with UND hockey. I predict that next year when hockey season ends, there will be a new national champion, and it will be the boys in green.
