After only winning one game this year, which came against Indiana State, the Purdue Boilermakers football team is looking for a new engineer. Sunday afternoon, the Boilermakers decided to oust Ryan Walters after only one season as Head Engineer. The Boilers are now in the market for a new Head Coach. I knew the end was coming, because when you only win one game, you have to start somewhere. The final game of the Walters regime was a 66-0 loss to IU in the Old Oaken Bucket game. The Hoosiers are having a tremendous year under Head Coach Curt Gignetti, who signed an eight year deal to be the head coach of the Cream and Crimson. I feel that the firing of Walters was needed, and it was only a matter of time. The new coach should be approachable under any circumstances, whether you win or lose.
