Last week at this time, the Bismarck Bobcats appeared to be unstoppable. That was until they ran into a team of Brookings Blizzards, who absolutely avalanched them in the Bobcats den. They lost, with a score of 6 to 2 on Friday night. It was no fault of the Bobcats, Brookings was ready to play, and they were just the better team on Friday.
Note to Bobcat fans, please do not boo your team! The media will be watching the VFW reactions to Garrett and Layne, and will be there covering the rest of the team. If the press feels any negativity in the building, they have the right to write about it. Also keep in mind that the coaches have to deal with a lot. It is not very easy to be a general manager and a head coach. Without them, there would be no Bismarck Bobcats. These young men are not NHL players. Many of them are still in high school. They are doing their best. I am not ripping you, Bobcat fans, I am just giving you a friendly reminder for when you enter their den.
