Las Angeles, California – After taking game number 5 in New Jersey, the Devils were looking to tie the series at 3. It was match up of youth verses veterans in the net. For L.A., you had Jonathon Quick in the net while the Devils came in with Martin Brodeur. Quick got the better of the goalie match up. The L.A. Kings moved their way through the West, climbing all the way to the top of the NHL, winning their first Stanley Cup Title 6-1. Watching the Kings reminded me of the 1980’s US Hockey Team because no one gave the team a chance and they ended up winning the championship.
