So much for Leonard Hamilton and Juwan Howard being friends. Yesterday was a complete dismantling of Hamilton and the Noles. The Maize and Blue’s reward is USC, who handed Oatmeal and the Tide a one way trip back to Tuscaloosa where they belong. When you think of the SEC, you think of Alabama and their football coach Nick “Sabee”. You don’t think of Oatmeal and the Tide basketball program. When you think of Michigan, you think of Captain Comeback from when he was with the Indianapolis Colts. The point is that Michigan is the only representative from the Midwest and the so-called Big 10 remaining for the NCAA basketball title. After the Big 11 started with nine hopeful teams for the title, they are now clinging to life with Michigan. Juwan Howard is my favorite college coach, besides the one in West Lafayette, who is always half of a basketball short of a title. Chaundee Brown wanted to give Florida State a brown nose that they would never be able to return from. Michigan was able to give the Seminoles a cold wind that they will be forced to deal with all offseason long. For Michigan, it’s Hail to the Victors.
