After a 4-1 win on Friday night and claiming a 1-nothing lead in the series over the Express, it was Matt Grogan’s turn to see if he could get the Bobcats one step closer to nationals. But the Express had other ideas. Here’s your scoring recap:
After a scoreless first frame, at 4:58 of the second the Express’ Cory Thorson got on the board with an assist from Dylan Porter. And then it would be the Bobcats evening the game at 1, on a goal by Cody Keefer at 19:25 of the second. Then the Express would reclaim the lead on an unassisted goal scored by Stephen Carew at 11:20 of the third. But then the Express would salt the game away on a goal by Express’ Dylan Porter, making the second time after claiming a 1- nothing lead that the Bobcats have come out of game two of best of five series even.
