Sunday afternoon concluded round robin play because of Covid-19, and sometimes when you are the champion you get a first round bye, which I think is a bunch of garbage. Craig Berube was unable to light a fire under the Blues and as a result Dallas has put the Blues in big trouble, and they have to take on Roberto Luongo and the Canucks, who ousted the Minnesota not so Wild.

Laila Anderson was a super Blues fan who was battling cancer, who the Blues played for last year. Laila was the one who inspired the Blues all season long, leading up to the 2019 Stanley Cup. When the Blues were crowned kings of the NHL, Laila’s name was on the ring, and she became the Blues’ inspiration. Colten Parayko became Laila’s favorite Blues player, and Parayko delivered her a ring. She was also featured on NBCSN with Jeremy Roenick. When the Blues brought home the hardware, the first person that the Blues organization thought about was Laila. She quickly grabbed the country’s attention.

The Blues, because of their loss on Sunday, will earn the number four seed, and I think it will be one and done for the Blues. If they don’t quit monkeying around, they will be easily dethroned. The Blues have had absolutely zero passion all tournament long, and now have an uphill battle to try and stay on top of the NHL.
