NAHL media had a chance to check in on the Bobcats’ biggest rival, the Minot Minotauros. Minot is currently two points ahead of Bismarck for first place in the NAHL Central Division. NAHL media asked Coach Murray of the Tauro’s who his captain was for the 2016-17 season and he replied it was Jacob Dittel. The boys from the Magic City have eleven returning players from last year’s team that was knocked out of the playoffs by the Austin Bruins, including a returning goalie by the name of Lucas Murray who is no relation to the head coach and General Manager, Marty.
Riverside Arena can be a scary place in Austin to play, but coach Murray didn’t seem intimidated as we prodded him with questions about the upcoming weekend series.
