Starting with a trip up Highway 83 on Thursday to the Maysa Arena in Minot to take on the Minotauros in round one of the Subway North Dakota Cup which Minot won last year, but this is a new hockey season and hope springs eternal for the Bismarck Bobcats that they will bring the Cup back to Bismarck where it belongs.
In our conversation with Bobcats Associate Coach and Director of Player Personnel Garrett Roth we found out that Coach Roth has a great amount of respect for Minotauros Head Coach Marty Murray in the way his team plays. It is always a tough battle when we go up there to play. This is an another important weekend for us with a possible six points to grab especially two road games with the first place Brookings Blizzard also.
We also talked to Forward Matej Murin who registered a hat trick against the Kenai River Brown Bears on Friday night this last weekend and he too is looking forward to the three games also this weekend for the Bobcats to move up the ladder in the NAHL Central Division Standings where the Bobcats sit currently in third place two points behind the Blizzard and Aberdeen Wings.
The puck will drop at 7:05 pm all three nights and you can listen to Paul Teeple on 1270 am radio in Bismarck.
