Although it may look like the Bruins are trying to hurt some of the Bobcat players, Coach Sedevie states there will be no retribution. Layne still has respect for the former Michigan Tech coach. As far as the hit from last Friday night’s game, it cost the Bruins a player going into game number four in the Bobcats den. Coach Sedevie told Bobcat media that he couldn’t see the hit so it had to be a tough call for refs to give the Bruins a five minute major penalty and a game misconduct. “I don’t think that Coach Tok is trying to hurt our players, and I really respect what he does. They are just trying to play their game,” said Layne. In Coach Sedevie’s eyes it was a big win in Riverside. Heading into games three and four, the Bobcats must take advantage of their home ice just like they did with Aberdeen. The Bobcats do not want to go back to Riverside for a game five. They would like end it at their den. Coach Sedevie said that he remembers the feeling from last year when they played the Central Division finals, and how they were able to win it at home. He said he would like to have that same feeling again.
