In the Fargodome, opposing teams are likely to get flipped by the Bison. Fordham was no match for NDSU, as they put on a show that thrilled Bison fans, and Jeremiah Boyce was there to watch the 38-0 goring. Nathan Hayes used his arm to throw two touchdowns. He also took a sack, which I was not happy with. He could have had a positive play, but instead had negative yardage. The Bison were ready from the word go on Saturday afternoon. I thought the tunnel was going to explode when the Bison came out on to the field. The Fargodome was wild and had a lot of noise, which impacted the Rams the most. They seemed rattled by the fans and the Dome.
I am looking ahead to Mountain West play in Colorado Springs on Saturday night at 9 pm, when the Bison try to go 3-0 against the Air Force Falcons. There is going to be a lot of pomp and circumstance around the birds, and I think Nathan Hayes will have to go on silent snap count because the Falcons are going to try and take him down. Polasek’s boys are going to have to play together like a family, and the senior from West Chicago Illinois is going to have to trust his teammates to run the right plays. Jeremiah will probably be tired on Sunday, but I don’t care. It’s the first ever Mountain West game and I want to see and hear it, which means a lot of coffee.
