Fargo/Moorhead, I feel your pain. I remember Scott Miller giving a special hello to Jeremiah Boyce during a playoff game. I just watched the video highlights from their 2011 National Championship run. I wish he was still here, but unfortunately, the voice of the Bison will no longer be around to say, “My oh my!”
It is unknown who will replace him as the voice of the Bison and the Redhawks. But Bison Nation has an emptiness that can never be replaced. No matter who they pick, nobody can ever replace Scott Miller’s enthusiasm for the football team. Whenever I think of the Thundering Herd, I will think of Scott’s voice, and his famous saying, “My oh my!” It wouldn’t sound right if anybody else said it.
Rest in peace, Scott.
We will miss you.
