Bobcat fans, this series reminds me of a team that used to reside 419 miles away from us, in Billings, MT. Coach Bliss and the Billings Bulls would fight tooth and nail. Just ask coach Chad Johnson. They were a good team. That’s why they had 6 banners hanging up at the Metra in Billings. Marty Murray’s team is starting to remind me of the old Billings Bulls. The Minotauros don’t give a darn if you score. They have firepower too, and they have everything. But, so can Sedevie, Roth, and the Bobcats. It’s going to come down to a battle of wills, between the two highway 83 teams. This is the year of the Cat.
The Minotauros are only 2 points behind the Bobcats, heading into Friday. Layne talks about having games in hand, so this is a perfect opportunity for the Bobcats to win, and bury the Minotauros even further behind the Bobcats. This is not a must-win, but it would be to the Bobcats advantage to be purring, instead of growling. I would not go with the new goalie, I would go with Hunter in the net, just because this is a rivalry game. It’s going to be pressure packed, and you know Sam and Marty are going to try to tie us up. So now all the pressure is on the former Billings Bull. I think it will be a shootout, with the Bobcats winning. The winning shot is going to come off of the stick of “Downtown” Willy Brown.
