All your off season workouts lead up to day one, and for the Bismarck Bobcats it was time to begin defense of their Central Division title against Jamestown NY. Early in the game, the Bobcats were down 1-0, but then Adam Knochenmus tied the game at 1-1. The Bobcats got momentum from their captain and scored the next 2 goals after Adam tied the game. The Bobcats took a 2 to 1 lead on a goal by Shane Omdahl. Next they carried the play and scored a goal wich made it 3-1. Bismarck’s goalie Bryan Nies was outstanding in the net in his first game, only allowing one goal. The Bobcats start the season on top, where they left off last season. The Bobcats now are 1-0.
