Denver, CO – On Sunday night, most of the country waited with bated breath to see a 4-time MVP who hasn’t been on a football field since last year when he was with the Indianapolis Colts. Peyton Manning looked outstanding on Sunday, carving up the Steelers for a 31-19 rout. It was the Steelers who got on the board first, making the score 3-0 on a Shaun Suisham field goal. Then, Peyton quickly answered, throwing his first touchdown as a Bronco and the 400th of his career. The Steelers and Broncos went back and forth before Denver put the game away by putting a bun on Roethlisberger with two sacks and a pick six. This was a much more entertaining game to watch than his brother played a week ago Wednesday. It was Peyton at his best. New team, no matter. The same person that ended Peyton’s SuperBowl dreams in SuperBowl 44 against the Saints is now on the same team, Tracy Porter. Peyton and the Broncos continue their prime time of the NFL when the Manning show goes to Atlanta to play Matt Ryan and the Falcons on Monday Night Football.
