Who would’ve ever thought this would have been possible without Carson Wentz? The 6ft 6 quarterback, who hails from Bismarck, ND, is still dealing with a shoulder injury. In his place is a young man who is only a freshman, by the name of Easton Stick, who has them Two wins away from going south yet again. Chris Kleiman is two wins away from competing for his fifth straight title. There are many factors as to why the Bison are two wins away, and RJ Urzendowski is one of them. Their defense has been flying around all playoffs long. First it started with the utter annihilation of the Grizzlys, and then we can’t forget the success of the home-sweet-dome. The Bison Fans have been incredibly loud when the other teams have had the ball. A familiar foe comes into the dome to face them this week, the UNI Panthers. Easton is going to have to be on the stick two more times, and the Bison defense will have to be incredibly stingy. If you allow the Panthers to get an early lead, that could spell trouble for the Bison and their hope for going south.
You can hear Scott Miller and Jeremy Jorgenson, beginning at 2:00pm on the Bison Radio Network pre game show.
