The Sheriff’s Patrol had a chance to sit down with Assistant Coach Garrett Roth, who gave his thoughts on what happened in Aberdeen last weekend where the Bobcats fell in overtime after being up in the 3rd period 3-1, while picking up only one point in the two game series. The Bobcats remain in second place in the NAHL Central Division with 17 points, now five points behind the first place Minot Minotauros, while Bismarck was battling with the Wings, the Minotauros were having no problem sweeping the Austin Bruins, creating the five point difference.
The Bobcats will go on the road again this weekend when they visit Riverside Arena to face the Bruins in Austin, MN, where the Bobcats will be hungry for points after last weekend. “We are not happy with the one point that we came back from Aberdeen with, we want wins”, according to Coach Roth.
The Bobcats are working on becoming a better team in the defensive end with better puck control and not giving the puck up in crucial moments during the game.
