Bismarck – After a weekend dispatching of the hapless Albert Lea Thunder, the Bismarck Bobcats find themselves all alone on the top of the Central Division. David Bosner and Matt Grogan are the best goalie tandem in the NAHL. Bosner shut down the Thunder, and got plenty of help from his offense in a 6-0 win on Friday night. On Saturday, it was more of the same, as Matt Grogan and Isaiah Bennis helped combine in an effort that ripped the Thunder. This team has all the makings of a Central Division Champion. It’s way to early to award Bismarck it’s first crown since 2003-04 (when they claimed back-to-back Borne Cup titles), but this team will be a force all season long.
Bobcats Assume #1 Position in Central
Bismarck’s Captain John Clark (Baudette, Minnesota) has a future scholarship to play for the Army’s Black Knights at West Point. Clark, who is one of the team’s biggest threats to score, is the second Bobcat this season to commit to a Division I school. Congratulations John from your friends at the Bobcats.
