Even though the Minot Minotauros are not off to a good start this season, that doesn’t mean that the Bobcats want to help them get out of their early season doldrums this weekend. The Bobcats would like to remind them that they are playing the first place team in the NAHL Central Division.
We don’t care if the Minotauros are currently in last place, the focus for the Bobcats is to try and remain hot and extend their current six game winning streak. Assistant Coach Garrett Roth said that the key for the Bobcats was to play with urgency, have a good work ethic, and the special teams play will be crucial. We also need to take care of the puck in the d-zone and neutral zone. We are expecting to receive Minot’s best effort of the season so far this weekend.
After a good week of practice with attention to detail, one would expect the Bobcats to be on the prowl for another four points in this home and home Subway Cup Series to further solidify their first place stronghold in the NAHL Central.
