After having a 43-13-2 record, and with the chance to put the Blizzard away, the Bismarck Bobcats let a golden opportunity slip by the wayside. The two teams now head for Alexandria with the series tied at 1-1. The Gilbert, AZ product, Matt Grogan, did not have his best game as he let Alexandria back into the series. One has to wonder what the psyche of the Central Division Champs is, knowing that the fate of the series rests on what happens this Friday and Saturday. If the Bobcats win both games in Alexandria, they will move on to the second round of the playoffs. It’s anybody’s series now. When you give the Blizzard confidence, that could come back and bite you. If I were Coach Pool, I would put Grogan on the bench and go with the Chesterfield, MO native, David Bosner instead. Grogan was shaky at best. He looked at times bewildered, which is not what you want on your home ice. You want your veterans to step up. The whole Bobcat team looked out of sync.
