Owatonna, MN
Friday, Nov 5th
With the Bismarck Bobcats having control of the Central Division for the last 2 years in a row, and coming off a 5 – 1 win at Alexandria, there was one area that the Bobcats hadn’t been tested in. It took more than 60 minutes to declare a winner in tonight’s game. Nikolaj Rosenthal opened the scoring for Bismarck. Owatonna quickly countered tying the score at 1 on a goal by B. Schammel. The Bobcats would reclaim the lead on a razor sharp goal, by #3 Daniel Ray, making the score 2 – 1 good guys. However, early in the 3rd Owatonna would blow their whistle and would make sure the Bobcats would have to go through over-time. Owatonna would carry the play in the over-time period, but #31 Ryan Faragher would stand on his head denying Owatonna on point blank chances. Then we would go through the most exciting segment of Junior A hockey where Owatonna would miss the opportunity and run into the Great Wall of Faragher. Here are my stars of tonight’s game: #3 from the Bobcats Daniel Ray, #2 from Owatonna G. Orhn, and the #1 star of the game, from your Bismarck Bobcats #31 Ryan Faragher! The Bobcats are in the middle of a road-trip and will not be home until Nov 19th! They will go for the sweep of the Express tomorrow night in the Four Seasons Center. For all of your Bobcats home and away, don’t forget to keep it locked on jeremiahboyce.com!
