Bismarck ND.
After only gathering one point on the road in Brookings this weekend, the Bobcats return to the friendly confines of their VFW den, where they will take on the Minnesota Wilderness on Friday night and have a rematch with the Brooking Blizzard on Saturday evening. They must come away with four points, as playoff positioning is at a premium. Right now the Bobcats find themselves five points behind the fourth place Aberdeen Wings with 18 games left to be played in the NAHL season.
The Bobcats need to keep their heads up and not focus on what might have been this past weekend, just like this staff writer is trying to do. It is not always easy having to cover a team that is in last place with the possibility of not making the playoffs and ending their season earlier then they are accustomed to, but I also need to keep my head up, just like I am asking the players to do.
