The Bismarck Bobcats will get an early start to their weekend tonight as they travel to Aberdeen to take on the first place Wings in NAHL Central Division action. The Bobcats who ended the Wings 19 game winning streak on Feb. 2nd at the VFW Sports Center, will be looking for the important two points available in their attempt to secure their own playoff future, as they currently sit in fourth place with 47 points, one point ahead of the Minnesota Wilderness who will invade the VFW Sports Center for two crucial games this weekend.
On Wednesday, the Sheriff’s Patrol talked to a supremely confident Asst. Coach Garrett Roth who stated that the Bobcats are going to Aberdeen to get those two points in addition to the four points available against the Wilderness, if they continue to play their winning brand of hockey like they did in their sweep of the then second place Austin Bruins last weekend in Bismarck which extended the Bobcats own winning streak to 3 games.
When asked about how the team breaks down film, Roth told the Sheriff’s Patrol that the teams focus was on the Wings and they will turn their attention to the Wilderness on Friday after returning from Aberdeen.
We would like to wish the Bobcats good luck as they go on the prowl looking for a total of six points this weekend.
