West Lafayette, Indiana. Marquette and Purdue were meeting on the basketball on Tuesday night. The final score was Boilermakers 75, Marquette 70. There are three takeaways from the game.

The Boilers were sluggish to start the game, but in the end, they sent Marquette back to Wisconsin with an L, which is the way I like it.
Hopefully Boilermaker football will do away with Northwestern on Saturday. If they don’t, they don’t deserve to go to a bowl game. When you have a 1-9 team coming in to the Depot, the gates automatically should go down and they should hear train whistles blasting in their ears, and they should get ready for a death on the tracks!
