You have got to box him out so he doesn’t kill you like he did last night when he and the Scarlet Knights pulled off a shocking upset. For Purdue, it’s only one loss, and I expect them to be ranked in the top 10 next week, but it won’t be number one, because of Ron Harper, Jr. He is what he is, a Rutgers MVP. The Boilers should have added on points through the game, so that Harper couldn’t do his magic at the end. But he did what he did. Purdue dropped to 1-1 in the Big Ten, and 8-1 overall.
Purdue will always be number one with me. Their next game is Sunday at 1:00 pm when they battle the Wolfpack of NC State at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. They will return to Big Ten play on January 3 when they battle On Wisconsin at Mackey Arena.
