On one end of the spectrum you can be happy for Carson Wentz, but on the other end, all good things must come to an end sometime. Sam Bradford did not have a great game yesterday. For that matter, no one wearing the purple did, giving them their first loss. Next week they play the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field in Chicago on Halloween night. The hapless Bears are currently 1 and 6. Meanwhile for Minnesota it’s not how you start a season, but how you come together as a team after a disappointing loss and how you finish that season.
The Vikings are losing players left and right, but there is no excuse for the loss even when you’re playing the Eagles on Sunday. I don’t care if they are on the road or at home. It’s not Mike Zimmer’s fault, it’s the fifty-three men wearing the white and purple uniforms. They did not follow the game plan and that resulted in the loss.
If the Vikings want to defeat the Bears next Monday night and give them their seventh loss of the season, they need to have a great week of practice and put in a game plan that they are going to follow to a tee.
