To say that the Kansas City Chiefs were not ready to play last night was clearly obvious in all three phases of the Super Bowl. There is kicking, and defense, and offense. The Chiefs should have been ready to go, but they didn’t get the message. Whereas the Philadelphia Eagles were ready to fly. What made the Chiefs look even more unprepared was the fact that they were two time World Champions. And if they would have been ready to play, there is no question in my mind the outcome would have been different. The Chiefs only scored 22 points and Andy Reed was out coached by Nick Sirianni. He was out Sirianni-ed.
Now that the pressure is off, the Chiefs can get ready for training camp in August without the World Champion title. The quarterback from Texas Tech is human. Even he couldn’t stop the coronation of the Birds. Now we’ll see how long it will take the Eagles to get used to their new name. Along with being World Champions, it will mean that everybody in the NFL is gunning for them.
