Oklahoma City. For the gazzillionth time, the rest of the country knows to never underestimate the heart of a champion. Last night, Tyrese Haliburton was doing his best RM impersonation. He struck with 1.3 seconds remaining and hit the game winning shot, which gave the Indiana Pacers a 111-110 triumph over the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. This also wrestled away home court advantage from OKC. Rick Carlisle pressed all the right buttons, and helped the Pacers win. They were down by 15 going into the fourth quarter, but they were resilient, taking a page out of the Thunder’s book. Game two is on Sunday night at 7 pm, an hour earlier than Game one. So far, this looks like the Pacers’ year, but don’t count out the Thunder. They are a well oiled machine, especially with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
