South Bend, Indiana. With the football season barely a week old, after a year in which Notre Dame made it to the national championship before succumbing to Ohio State, the Irish are at a serious fork in the road. They can either snap out of their losing ways, or fall to 0-2 and make the road to a national title even more cumbersome. Tomorrow, Texas A&M travels to meet Marcus Freeman and the Irish at 6:30 pm on NBC. You can expect the Irish to run the ball and pass it to Jeremiyah Love. Love had a big season last year, and I expect more of the same this year. The Aggies are looking for a big upset in South Bend, but they won’t get it.
