With goaltender Will Ulrich fighting a high ankle sprain, the Bobcats needed more goaltending help so they called on the Waterloo Blackhawks of the USHL and they were to get Severi Isokangas who is originally from Finland. We asked the “Ice Man” if there was adjustment to his new team and he stated that the guys have welcomed him with open arms.
Severi also mentioned that the hockey played in the USA is a lot more physical than what he was accustomed to in his native Finland and took him awhile to adjust to the new style of play. He is also being patient in adjusting to the play of his new league in the NAHL. Isokangas is also adjusting to his new city of Bismarck with the help of fellow Bobcat Jordan Fralich.
