The Minot Minotauros led by Head Coach Marty Murray have reached the NAHL Central Division Finals after upsetting the first place Aberdeen Wings in their first round matchup in five games, winning two of the games on the road in Aberdeen. Now it is up to Coach Murray to install a winning game plan against their next opponents the Austin Bruins in another five game series which starts tomorrow night in Austin, Mn. at Riverside Arena.
Players to watch are forward Miroslav Mucha and goalie Samu Lonkila for Minot because Mucha can put the biscuit in the basket with a team leading 30 goals and 25 assists during the regular season and Lonkila can keep it out of the basket with a 2.46 Goals Against Average during the regular season which he has lowered to 2.16 GAA in the five games against Aberdeen.
The Sheriff’s Patrol would like to wish Coach Murray and his Minotauros good luck against in their upcoming series against the Bruins in their pursuit of the Central Cup.
